The Chieftain 1450 Litre Aviation Fuel Bowser is a compact, fully bunded mobile refuelling solution designed for the safe and compliant transportation and dispensing of aviation fuel. Featuring a UN-approved 1,450 litre Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) and mounted on a galvanised, EU type-approved twin-axle chassis, it combines robust road-going construction with specialist aviation refuelling equipment housed within a secure cabinet, including ATEX-approved dispensing components and dedicated fuel filtration.

Description
With a capacity of 300 gallons / 1,450 litres, the Chieftain Aviation Fuel Bowser provides a compact and professional solution for aircraft refuelling.
The fully bunded, UN-approved IBC is mounted on a galvanised, EU type-approved twin-axle chassis for safe and compliant road transport. Torsion rubber suspension, an overrun braking system and a 50 mm Bradley coupling provide stable and controlled towing.
Fuel is contained within a 3 mm Grade 304 stainless steel baffled inner tank, protected by a robust 4 mm mild steel outer tank. The dispensing equipment is housed within a secure, lockable roller-shutter cabinet and includes an ATEX-approved 12 V DC pump, four-digit flow meter and ZVA 25 automatic shut-off nozzle.
An 8 metre aviation-approved hose with Spannloc fittings, Parker aviation filtration and a 20 metre earth bonding reel provide the specialist equipment required for controlled aircraft refuelling.
The bowser also includes two fuel level gauges, full LED road lighting, a concealed 12 V battery with solar trickle charging, lockable filler cap and four lifting eyes.
For operators requiring additional reach during refuelling, a 15 metre spring-rewind hose reel is available as an optional extra.
