Chieftain manufactures a wide range of truck-drawn commercial trailers for haulage companies, plant hire firms and logistics operators across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Our core commercial trailer range is designed and manufactured to meet European Whole Vehicle Type Approval requirements, with approved models supplied with EU certification for registration and use across Northern Ireland and EU member states. As a Northern Ireland manufacturer, Chieftain also benefits from unfettered access arrangements for qualifying Northern Ireland goods, enabling EU-approved trailers that meet the relevant requirements to be supplied to customers in Great Britain without the need for additional GB type approval.
The range includes semi-low loaders, centre-axle drawbar low loaders, midi low loaders and commercial flatbed trailers.
Chieftain also designs and manufactures specialist commercial trailers for more demanding applications, including the transport of heavy machinery, construction equipment and oversized loads. These trailers can be tailored to specific operational, payload and load requirements.
