2 Axle Bin Type Skip Trailer

The Chieftain 2 Axle Bin Type Skip Trailer is designed and manufactured for the efficient transportation of skips and waste containers, providing operators with a practical way to increase skip transport capacity across their fleet. Supplied with EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval, it combines a 19-tonne gross trailer weight with a compact 3.7-metre bed for demanding waste, recycling, demolition and construction applications.

Heavy-duty commercial running gear includes 10-stud commercial axles with 310 × 190mm brakes and automatic slack adjusters, air suspension with raise/lower control and dual-line air braking with WABCO EBS and load sensing. Park and shunt valves, air, electrical and EBS suzies and a tyre pressure monitoring system further support dependable day-to-day operation.

The trailer features a 10mm mild steel floor, with six removable bolster posts and two ratchet chain tighteners to securely locate and restrain the bin during transport. Recessed lashing rings are positioned in the side chimes and trailer deck to provide additional load-securing flexibility.

Designed for intensive commercial use, the trailer is equipped with a lockable stainless steel toolbox, sideguards, rear underrun protection, spray-suppression mudflaps, conspicuity markings and full LED road lighting. A two-speed adjustable-height jacking leg simplifies coupling and uncoupling, while 50mm or 57.5mm bolt-on towing eyes provide flexibility to suit different vehicle configurations.

The trailer is shot blasted prior to finishing with a durable 2-pack primer and paint system, providing a high-quality, hard-wearing finish for demanding waste and recycling environments.
