The Chieftain 3 Axle RORO Skip Trailer is purpose-built for the safe and efficient transportation of CHEM standard roll-on roll-off skips and waste containers. Supplied with EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval, it combines heavy-duty construction, increased carrying capability and secure container retention with commercial-spec running gear for professional waste, recycling and industrial operations.

With a 25-tonne gross weight and 6.5-metre bed length, the trailer provides the capacity required for demanding skip transport applications. Two guide rails run along the bed to assist with the positioning and movement of roll-on roll-off containers, while four air-operated spring-return skip clamps provide secure container retention during transport.

The three-axle running gear combines commercial axles with air suspension and raise/lower control, together with a front lift axle. The braking specification includes a dual-line air system with WABCO EBS, load sensing, park and shunt valves, spring brakes and automatic slack adjusters.

A 10mm mild steel floor provides a robust working surface for the repeated loading and unloading associated with professional roll-on roll-off skip operations.

The road-going specification includes a 24V ISO electrical system, full LED lighting, spray-suppression mudflaps, sideguards, conspicuity markings and a stainless steel toolbox. Customers can also select either a 50mm or 57.5mm bolt-on towing eye to suit their towing requirements.
