2 Axle Agri Forestry

Chieftain’s 2 Axle Agri Forestry Trailer is designed and manufactured specifically for the transportation of forestry forwarders, harvesters and other specialist forestry machinery. With a 19-tonne gross trailer weight and 9m platform length, it provides a strong and dependable transport solution for forestry contractors and operators using agricultural tractors. The trailer is fitted with 8-stud solid beam axles with 300 x 90 brakes, multi-leaf spring suspension with equalising rockers and hydraulic braking. A sprung drawbar, adjustable hitch and 50mm heavy-duty towing eye provide reliable towing performance across demanding forestry and agricultural applications. For safe and practical loading, the trailer features 730mm wide manual front and rear ramps, with tying points positioned on the trailer deck and sides for securing machinery during transport. An integrated toolbox is manufactured into the trailer bed, while additional practical features include a removable foot stool beneath the drawbar, secure hose pipe holder, mechanical ratchet handbrake and full LED road lighting. The trailer is supplied on 235/75 R17.5 tyres and is fully shot blasted before being finished in a durable 2-pack primer and paint system, providing long-lasting protection against corrosion and harsh working environments. A comprehensive range of optional equipment allows the trailer to be tailored to individual forestry operations, including hydraulic rear ramps, galvanised telescopic outriggers, timber bed covering, hydraulic jack leg, LED work lamps and flashing strobes, wide marker boards, spare wheel, 80mm ball towing eye and a wireless reversing camera with in-cab monitor.
