3 Axle Agri Forestry

Chieftain’s 3 Axle Agri Forestry Trailer is designed and manufactured specifically for the transportation of heavy forestry forwarders, harvesters and other specialist forestry machinery. With a 27-tonne gross trailer weight and 10m platform length, it provides a robust and dependable transport solution for forestry contractors and operators working in demanding environments. The trailer is fitted with 8-stud solid beam axles with 300 x 90 brakes, multi-leaf spring suspension with equalising rockers and hydraulic braking. A sprung drawbar, adjustable hitch and 50mm heavy-duty towing eye provide reliable performance when towing with agricultural tractors. For loading and securing machinery, the trailer features 730mm wide manual front and rear ramps, tying points along the chassis legs and an integrated toolbox manufactured into the trailer bed. Practical features also include a removable foot stool beneath the drawbar, secure hose pipe holder, mechanical ratchet handbrake and full LED road lighting. The trailer is supplied on twelve 235/75 R17.5 tyres and is fully shot blasted before being finished in a durable 2-pack primer and paint system, providing long-lasting protection against corrosion and the demanding conditions associated with forestry work. A comprehensive range of optional equipment allows each trailer to be tailored to individual operating requirements, including hydraulic rear ramps, galvanised telescopic outriggers, rear steer axle, timber bed covering, hydraulic jack leg, LED work lamps and flashing strobes, wide marker boards, spare wheel, 80mm ball towing eye and wireless reversing camera with in-cab monitor.
